The Li-Ion Deep Cycle range is VARTA's lithium service battery. It does not start engines: its function is to power on-board consumption with deep daily discharges.

## Technology

Uses LiFePO4 chemistry, the most stable and safe lithium variant for leisure installations. Compared to an equivalent lead battery, it weighs around 60% less and takes up less space, allows thousands of cycles instead of hundreds, and enables almost the full nominal capacity to be used, while with lead it is advisable not to go below 50%. Integrates a BMS that protects against overloading, deep discharge, short circuit and out-of-range temperatures.
