**Noco NLX24 12V 90Ah** is a LiFePO4 lithium service battery for boats, designed to power onboard loads (fridge, fishfinder, GPS, lights, inverter) through deep daily discharges. It is not a starting battery: it replaces the lead-acid service bank at around 60 % less weight.

## NOCO NLX24 12V 90Ah 1200A dual-purpose LiFePO4 lithium battery

The NOCO NLX24 is a dual-purpose lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery that combines the power of a starting battery with the capacity of a deep-cycle battery. It provides 90 Ah (1,152 Wh), 1,200 A of starting current and 150 A of continuous discharge, in a BCI group 24 format.
It accepts up to 90 A of charging current (1C), allowing a full recharge in around one hour, and is rated for 2,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge and 4,000 at 80%. Its BMS protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit and cell imbalance, with continuous temperature monitoring.
Up to four units can be connected in series (up to 48 V) or in parallel. It weighs 10.89 kg.

### Is this a starting or a service (leisure) battery?

Dual purpose: it can start the engine and also work as a service battery, handy on boats with a single battery. On boats with two circuits the ideal is one starting battery and one service battery.

### In what position can it be installed on the boat?

Being lithium, it is sealed and does not spill: it can be mounted tilted (never upside down) and copes well with vibration and wave impacts. Secure it firmly and keep the terminals away from water.

### What are the dimensions of the Noco NLX24 battery?
