## NOCO NLXU1 12V 40Ah 600A dual-purpose LiFePO4 lithium battery

The NOCO NLXU1 is a dual-purpose lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery that combines the power of a starting battery with the capacity of a deep-cycle battery. It provides 40 Ah (512 Wh), 600 A of starting current and 75 A of continuous discharge, in a BCI group U1 format.
It accepts up to 40 A of charging current (1C), allowing a full recharge in around one hour, and is rated for 2,000 cycles at 100% depth of discharge and 4,000 at 80%. Its BMS protects against over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit and cell imbalance, with continuous temperature monitoring.
Up to four units can be connected in series (up to 48 V) or in parallel. It weighs 5.44 kg.

Dual purpose: it can start the engine and also work as a service battery, handy on boats with a single battery. On boats with two circuits the ideal is one starting battery and one service battery.

Being lithium, it is sealed and does not spill: it can be mounted tilted (never upside down) and copes well with vibration and wave impacts. Secure it firmly and keep the terminals away from water.
