## Frequently asked questions

### Which batteries can this charger charge?

12 V and 24 V batteries with a capacity of 140-900 Ah: conventional lead-acid, EFB, AGM and GEL. Check first that your battery voltage matches the charger.

### How long does it take to charge a battery?

As a guide, the time from flat is the battery capacity (Ah) divided by the charger current (60 A), plus 20 %: a 100 Ah battery takes about 2 hours. If it is only half discharged, half that time.

### Can I leave it connected to the battery?

Automatic chargers switch to maintenance when they finish and can be left connected. If maintenance charging is not listed in this model's specifications, disconnect it when charging is complete.

### Do I need to remove the battery to charge it?

No, it is usually charged in place: with the engine and ignition off, connect the red clamp to the positive (+) and the black one to the negative (−) or to a metal part of the chassis, then plug in the charger. When finished, unplug it before removing the clamps. Do it in a ventilated place.
