## Frequently asked questions

### Which vehicles can this jump starter start?

12 V and 24 V vehicles: cars and vans, and also lorries, buses, tractors and machinery running on 24 V.

### How do I jump-start a vehicle with a jump starter?

With the ignition off, connect the red clamp to the battery positive (+) and the black one to the negative (−) or to a metal part of the engine. Switch the jump starter on if it has a switch and crank for 5 seconds at most; if it does not start, wait a minute before trying again. Then remove the black clamp first and the red one last.

### How often should it be recharged?

After every use and, if it is stored, roughly every three months. This keeps its internal battery healthy and ready when you need it.
