TROJAN AGM batteries

TROJAN AGM: sealed deep cycle since 1925

TROJAN has built deep-cycle batteries in the United States since 1925 and is a world reference in mobility, golf and energy. The AGM range adds to that experience a sealed, maintenance-free construction that's safe for air transport and enclosed spaces, with good vibration resistance.

What the TROJAN AGM is used for

• Power wheelchairs and mobility scooters in daily use.
• Golf-carts and golf course vehicles.
• Motorhomes (RVs) and boats with onboard loads.
• Lift trucks and backup stationary energy.

Compatibility and how to choose your TROJAN AGM

The 27-AGM (92 Ah) covers golf-carts and small RVs; the 31-AGM (100 Ah) boats and large RVs; the 8D-AGM (230 Ah) stationary energy and higher-load applications. If personal mobility (wheelchair, scooter) is your priority, also check the AGM Reliant series, optimised for that use. Confirm exact fitment for your equipment with our battery comparator.

Frequently asked questions about TROJAN AGM

Is it compatible with my wheelchair or mobility scooter?

It depends on your equipment's dimensions and connector; we recommend confirming the exact model with your wheelchair or scooter manufacturer before buying.

What's the difference between TROJAN AGM and TROJAN GEL?

Both are maintenance-free deep-cycle batteries; AGM handles high discharge currents and low temperatures better, while GEL resists heat and very deep discharges better.

How long does a TROJAN AGM battery last?

With correct discharge and recharge cycles it typically offers several years of service, outlasting a conventional flooded lead-acid battery in the same use.

Is it suitable for solar or backup power?

Yes, especially the higher-capacity 8D-AGM model, common in stationary installations and backup power systems.
