Long WPS5-12 WPS Series · Stationary UPS battery 5Ah AGM

Stationary battery Long WPS5-12 WPS Series 5Ah 12V

Designed for UPS, alarms, telecoms and emergency lighting, the Long WPS5-12 from the WPS Series range offers 5 Ah with AGM technology on permanent float charge. It replaces the original battery without adaptation in UPS, alarm and emergency systems with a 90 × 70 × 107 mm format: same 5 Ah capacity.

• Sealed and gas-free: suitable for cabinets and offices.
• Maintenance-free for its whole service life.
• AGM technology: absorbed electrolyte, no spills, can be mounted at an angle.
• Long float life under permanent charge.

What the Long WPS5-12 is for

The Long WPS5-12 is designed for UPS, alarms, telecoms and emergency lighting: it sits on float charge and responds instantly to a mains failure. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 1.62 kg.

Dimensions, polarity and mounting

It has external dimensions of 90 × 70 × 107 mm and weighs 1.62 kg. Before replacing it, measure your current battery tray: if all three dimensions and the terminal positions match, the swap is direct and needs no adapters.

Why choose Long batteries

Long batteries combine large-scale production with ISO quality standards and a batch-to-batch consistency that has made them the de-facto standard in backup systems and electric mobility. At baterias.com we work directly with the manufacturer or its official distributor: real stock, brand-new product and official warranty.

The Long WPS5-12: WPS Series range and AGM technology

The WPS Series is the Long range the WPS5-12 belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.

In an AGM battery the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre separators: there is no free liquid, it cannot spill and it can be mounted at an angle. That construction lowers internal resistance, speeds up recharging and multiplies cycle life compared with a conventional battery.

How to make it last longer

Check the float voltage of the UPS or charger: a voltage that is too high shortens the life of a sealed battery. Replace all the batteries in the set at once and avoid environments continuously above 25 °C.

Warranty and coverage

The Long WPS5-12 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
