FULLRIVER EGL Batteries

FULLRIVER EGL: long-life solar AGM

Enhanced Glassmat Long-life (EGL) technology improves the internal glass fibre of conventional AGM to withstand more charge-discharge cycles before losing capacity. It remains a sealed, maintenance-free VRLA battery, but geared towards installations where the battery is the critical component of energy autonomy.

Where the EGL series is used

• Off-grid solar installations for cabins and shelters
• Off-grid homes with daily consumption
• Renewable energy systems where battery lifespan is a priority
• Medium-to-large off-grid applications

How to choose your FULLRIVER EGL

The EGL100-12 (100 Ah) suits small off-grid installations, the EGL150-12 (150 Ah) fits cabins with moderate consumption, and the EGL250-12 (250 Ah) is for off-grid homes with higher daily demand. Check capacity and price across the range in our battery comparator.

Frequently asked questions about FULLRIVER EGL

What does EGL mean for Fullriver?

Enhanced Glassmat Long-life: an AGM with improved glass fibre designed for more life cycles in off-grid solar use.

How long does a FULLRIVER EGL last compared with a standard AGM?

It's designed for more charge-discharge cycles than a conventional AGM from the same brand, though exact lifespan depends on system sizing and usage pattern.

Is it compatible with any solar panel power?

Yes, provided the charge controller is sized for the capacity (Ah) of the chosen EGL model and the installation's daily consumption.

Does it need maintenance?

No, it's a sealed VRLA battery with no need for water top-up.
