Genesis EP Pure lead

Genesis EP: pure lead for the most demanding UPS

The Genesis EP Pure Lead range uses 99.99% pure lead plates, unlike the lead-calcium or lead-antimony of a standard AGM. This purity drastically cuts self-discharge (1-2% monthly) and extends float service life up to 12-15 years, while delivering high-rate discharge capability well above a conventional AGM of the same size.

Genesis EP models and applications

• EP13 (13 Ah) — small-power UPS and telecoms equipment.
• EP30 (30 Ah) — UPS cabinets and industrial control systems.
• EP65 (65 Ah) — medium-power UPS and critical switchboards.
• EP100 (100 Ah) — larger UPS and telecom installations needing more autonomy.

How to choose your Genesis EP

Pick the capacity (Ah) based on the autonomy your UPS or critical installation needs; every reference shares the same 99.99% pure lead technology, only the size changes. Use our battery comparator to compare capacities between models.

Frequently asked questions about the Genesis EP battery

What's the difference between Genesis pure lead and a normal AGM?

99.99% pure lead reduces self-discharge and internal corrosion, extending float life and improving high-rate discharge capability compared with a standard AGM.

How long does a Genesis EP battery last in float duty?

Up to 12-15 years under normal temperature and UPS usage conditions, well beyond a conventional lead-calcium AGM.

Is it compatible with any UPS?

Yes, as long as you respect the 12V voltage and choose the capacity (Ah) suited to the autonomy your equipment or installation requires.
