Diesel agricultural machinery requires high-capacity (Ah) batteries with high cold cranking amps (CCA). Diesel engines are more difficult to start in winter. We recommend AGM batteries for heavy-duty use.
Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) measures the current the battery can deliver to start the engine at -18°C. In diesel agricultural machinery, insufficient CCA means the engine won't start in winter. Always choose a CCA equal to or higher than the original rating.
