Is the ProMotive SHD now called ProMotive SLI?

Yes. Since 2025 VARTA groups the former ProMotive HD and SHD under the ProMotive SLI name. The battery, the M18/N9/N7/L5 codes and their performance do not change.

Does the SHD suit a Start-Stop truck?

No: it is a pure SLI starter battery. For a truck with basic Start-Stop the right range is ProMotive EFB, and with heavy engine-off cab loads, ProMotive AGM.
