Where do I check if my battery is AGM or EFB?
On the top label of your current battery. AGM usually carry "AGM" or "VRLA". EFB carry "EFB". If none is present, most likely it is EFB (standard in mid-range Start-Stop cars).
Can I fit an AGM if my car had EFB?
Yes, no problem. AGM is superior in every aspect and replaces EFB. The other way round is NOT valid: never fit EFB if the original was AGM — it will not survive the cycles your car demands.
