Why extra-thick anti-vibration plates

An excavator or combine works on extreme terrain (quarry, ploughed field, slope, forestry track) and vibrates at destructive frequencies for hours. The standard plate in an SLI or even a light SHD breaks internally in months. The extra-thick anti-vibration plate in heavy SHD is rated for that profile — it is the only thing that holds performance over a full season.
