The Exide EG1705 truck battery is rated at 12 V, 170 Ah and 950 A of cold cranking current (EN) from the Start PRO range, and is prepared for trucks, buses, tractors and heavy machinery. It replaces the original battery without adaptation in trucks with a 514 × 218 × 210 mm format: same 170 Ah capacity and the positive terminal on the left.

Always replace both at the same time.

Usage and maintenance tips

Keep the terminals clean and tight and the battery firmly secured against chassis vibration. On batteries with filler caps, check the electrolyte level and top up only with distilled water.
