In terms of format, the Exide ED2303 measures 518 × 274 × 240 mm (length × width × height) and weighs 64.80 kg. The positive terminal on the left decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. It uses a B0 hold-down and EN taper post terminals, the system that anchors and connects it in the vehicle. Before replacing it, measure your current battery tray: if all three dimensions and the terminal positions match, the swap is direct and needs no adapters.

How to make it last longer

On batteries with filler caps, check the electrolyte level and top up only with distilled water. In 24 V installations, check periodically that both batteries show the same voltage; an imbalance means one is failing.

Official warranty

The Exide ED2303 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. An important note for commercial vehicles: most trucks use two batteries connected in series (24 V installation). If you replace only one, the new battery works alongside the old one, which has already lost capacity; that imbalance shortens its life and the manufacturer may treat it as misuse. Always replace both at the same time.
