The Exide ET9B-BS is made in the 150 × 70 × 105 mm format and weighs 2.90 kg. The positive terminal on the left decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. It uses a B0 hold-down and M04 terminals, the system that anchors and connects it in the vehicle. For a direct replacement, the current battery tray must accept these dimensions and the same terminal layout; otherwise adapters will be needed or the hold-down will change.

Warranty and coverage

The Exide ET9B-BS comes with the manufacturer's official warranty. The warranty does not cover discharge through prolonged inactivity: if the bike stands for months, use a trickle charger.

How to make it last longer

Avoid repeated cranking attempts on a cold bike for long: if it does not start on the third try, let the battery rest for a minute. Check the resting voltage before the season (above 12.6 V on a charged battery) and make sure the terminals are clean and tight.
