The Varta YTZ7S motorcycle battery (reference 506909010) is the 12 V, 6 Ah model delivering 100 A of cold cranking power (EN), from Varta's Powersports AGM Active (formerly Powersports AGM High Performance) range, designed for motorcycles, scooters, quads and personal watercraft. It replaces the original battery in motorcycles with the 113 × 70 × 105 mm format without any modifications: the same 6 Ah capacity and the same terminal layout (positive on the right).

The Varta YTZ7S is made in the 113 × 70 × 105 mm format. It uses a B00 hold-down, the system that secures it to the vehicle's battery tray. For the swap to be direct, the space your current battery occupies must respect those three dimensions and the same terminal layout; otherwise adapters will be needed or the hold-down will have to change.

Care and maintenance
