Frequently asked questions

Are they compatible with any alarm or small UPS?

Yes, as long as the voltage (6V or 12V), a similar or higher capacity (Ah) and the physical dimensions match the equipment's battery compartment.

How long does a Kronobat device battery last?

In backup (float) use, the typical service life of this type of sealed AGM/GEL battery is usually several years, depending on temperature and how often power cuts occur.

What's the difference between AGM and GEL in these models?

AGM delivers somewhat higher current peaks and is more common in alarms and UPS units; GEL better tolerates repeated deep cycling, common in equipment that discharges and recharges daily.

Do they need maintenance?

No, they are sealed batteries (VRLA): there's no need to check or top up electrolyte, and they can be installed in any orientation without leak risk.

KRONOBAT Devices: sealed AGM/GEL batteries for electronics and equipment

The KRONOBAT Devices range comprises sealed lead-acid batteries (VRLA), in AGM or GEL technology depending on the model, built for equipment that needs reliable, maintenance-free backup power: no water top-ups, no electrolyte leaks in any orientation, and stable service life on float or light cyclic duty. Their compact size fits the tight housing of alarms, scales and portable medical devices.

How to choose your Kronobat device battery

Check the voltage (6V or 12V), the capacity (Ah) and the exact dimensions of your current battery before replacing it: in security electronics and medical equipment, a lower capacity shortens runtime during a power cut. Use the comparison tool to check at a glance which Kronobat model matches your equipment.
