Tested to meet IEC and BCI standards, the Solar Industrial line features advanced battery technologies that provide reliable power. Trojan's Solar Industrial line is the perfect combination of performance and function, and features that include:
- Alpha Plus® Paste with T2 Technology ™ optimizes the development of porosity in the active material allowing the active material to be used more efficiently. This results in sustained performance over a longer period of time.
- The DuraGrid ™ design provides a thick grid structure that resists corrosion and, when combined with Alpha Plus Paste with T2 Technology, increases battery life.
- Reinforced Protective Wrap, which is a five-component insulation and wrap system that includes a Koroseal that protects the edges with a plastic sleeve to protect the underside of the board. It protects it against detachment and ensures the electrochemical performance of the active materials in the battery, improving the overall performance of the battery.
- Maxguard® XL Separator is exclusively available in Trojan's Industrial and Premium lines. It features a wide channel design that increases acid flow for optimal battery performance and provides increased resistance to stratification, a typical mode of failure in batteries used in renewable energy systems.
The rugged construction and smart design include removable 2-volt cell components assembled in a rugged polypropylene housing, which are then bundled together in a secondary polyethylene containment box to form high-capacity 4- and 6-volt single battery solutions. The smart design protects against damage caused by harsh environmental conditions, such as moisture and dirt build-up, guards against potential acid leaks, and makes maintenance easy.
