How long does a Trojan Solar Signature 600 battery last?

It's rated for 600 full cycles at 50% DoD; in a well-sized installation with regular electrolyte top-ups, it can deliver several years of daily use.

Is it compatible with any off-grid installation?

Yes, provided the controller and inverter are sized for 6V FLA batteries wired in series/parallel and periodic water-level maintenance is kept up.

What's the difference between the Signature 600 and the AGM 1700?

The Signature 600 is flooded FLA requiring maintenance (600 cycles, more affordable); the AGM 1700 is sealed, maintenance-free and rated for nearly triple the cycles, for more demanding off-grid use.

Batteries TROJAN SOLAR SIGNATURA 600 CYCLES 50% DOD

Trojan Solar Signature 600-cycle 50% DoD batteries: Trojan's flooded (FLA) solar range for moderate-to-heavy off-grid solar installations, rated for 600 charge/discharge cycles at 50% DoD. Formats from 225 to 450 Ah, 6V.

A step up from the Signature 100: built for daily off-grid homes, solar-powered farms or boats moored for long seasons, where draw is constant, recharge windows are shorter and higher cycle life really matters over the years.

Trojan Solar Signature 600: for daily off-grid use

The Solar Signature 600 series are flooded lead-acid (FLA) batteries rated for 600 charge/discharge cycles at 50% DoD, well above the Signature 100 (100 cycles), built for off-grid solar installations with constant daily draw and moderate-to-heavy cycling.

It's the go-to choice for anyone living permanently or semi-permanently off-grid who needs a reliable stationary battery, more affordable than sealed AGM.

Which off-grid solar setups it suits

Off-grid home with daily year-round use
Farm or smallholding with solar panels and constant draw
Boat moored for long seasons with a stationary battery bank
Mountain refuge running mainly on solar generation
