The Exide ES1350 marine battery offers 12 V, 120 Ah and 760 A of cold cranking current (EN) from the Marina GEL range with GEL technology, designed for motor and sailing boats, both for engine starting and onboard services. Its 513 × 189 × 223 mm and the positive terminal on the left make it the exact replacement for the 120 Ah battery fitted as standard to many boats.

Will it fit your current battery tray?

It has external dimensions of 513 × 189 × 223 mm and weighs 40 kg. The positive terminal on the left decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. It uses a B0 hold-down and 1 terminals, the system that anchors and connects it in the vehicle. Checking the three dimensions and the terminal position before buying avoids the most common mistake when replacing a battery.

The Marina GEL is the Exide range the ES1350 belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.

GEL technology fixes the acid in a solid gel. That removes maintenance and leaks and gives very long cycle life, in exchange for slightly slower recharging and lower peak current than an AGM.

Official warranty

The Exide ES1350 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. Deep discharge from winter lay-up without charging is not covered.

Care and maintenance

At the end of the season, charge the battery fully and, if possible, keep it on a charger over the winter lay-up. As a service battery, avoid routine discharges below 50% to extend its cycle life.
