With 7 Ah, the Exide ET7B-BS covers the starting of motorcycles, scooters, quads and personal watercraft. The JIS code on your current battery label is the safest way to confirm equivalence. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 2.40 kg, M04 terminals and B0 hold-down.

Size, terminals and hold-down of the Exide ET7B-BS

It has external dimensions of 150 × 65 × 95 mm and weighs 2.40 kg. The positive terminal on the left decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. It uses a B0 hold-down and M04 terminals, the system that anchors and connects it in the vehicle. For a direct replacement, the current battery tray must accept these dimensions and the same terminal layout; otherwise adapters will be needed or the hold-down will change.

AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology seals the electrolyte in glass microfibre. The result is a maintenance-free battery that is highly vibration-resistant and able to withstand deep discharges that would ruin a classic lead-acid battery.

Care and maintenance

If the bike spends the winter standing, connect a trickle charger: deep discharge through inactivity is the first cause of premature failure. Charge with a charger that has an AGM mode: it limits the voltage and protects the glass-fibre separators.

Warranty and coverage

The Exide ET7B-BS comes with the manufacturer's official warranty. The warranty does not cover discharge through prolonged inactivity: if the bike stands for months, use a trickle charger.
