The 8 V, 188 Ah Leoch LDC8-188 from the Deep Cycle LDC Series range with AGM technology is designed for golf carts and electric utility vehicles. It replaces the original battery without adaptation in golf carts with a 262 × 180 × 278 mm format: same 188 Ah capacity.

For a direct replacement, the current battery tray must accept these dimensions and the same terminal layout; otherwise adapters will be needed or the hold-down will change.

Usage and maintenance tips

Always replace all the batteries in the bank at once and use the charger specified by the vehicle manufacturer. Charge with a charger that has an AGM mode: it limits the voltage and protects the glass-fibre separators.
