Stationary battery Long WP1224W WP WATT Series 6Ah 12V

The Long WP1224W with AGM technology is a 6 Ah, 12 V backup battery for UPS, alarms, telecoms and emergency lighting. Measuring 151 × 51 × 101 mm, it is the direct replacement for UPS, alarm and emergency systems fitted from the factory with a 6 Ah battery of this format.

• Low self-discharge and high reliability.
• Standard format for UPS and emergency systems.
• AGM: faster recharging and better cycle resistance than a conventional battery.
• Instant response to mains failures.

What the Long WP1224W is for

Designed for UPS, alarms, telecoms and emergency lighting, the Long WP1224W is sealed, gas-free and suitable for technical cabinets and offices. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 1.95 kg.

The Long WP1224W: WP WATT Series range and AGM technology

The WP WATT Series is the Long range the WP1224W belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.

In an AGM battery the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre separators: there is no free liquid, it cannot spill and it can be mounted at an angle. That construction lowers internal resistance, speeds up recharging and multiplies cycle life compared with a conventional battery.

Dimensions, polarity and mounting

It has external dimensions of 151 × 51 × 101 mm and weighs 1.95 kg. Before replacing it, measure your current battery tray: if all three dimensions and the terminal positions match, the swap is direct and needs no adapters.

Why choose Long batteries

Long batteries combine large-scale production with ISO quality standards and a batch-to-batch consistency that has made them the de-facto standard in backup systems and electric mobility. We guarantee that every Long arrives new, charged and with the manufacturer's full warranty.

Usage and maintenance tips

Replace all the batteries in the set at once and avoid environments continuously above 25 °C. Charge with a charger that has an AGM mode: it limits the voltage and protects the glass-fibre separators.

Manufacturer's warranty

The Long WP1224W comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
