What the Long WP1234W is for

Designed for UPS, alarms, telecoms and emergency lighting, the Long WP1234W is sealed, gas-free and suitable for technical cabinets and offices. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 2.50 kg.

Dimensions, polarity and mounting

It has external dimensions of 151 × 65 × 102 mm and weighs 2.50 kg. For a direct replacement, the current battery tray must accept these dimensions and the same terminal layout; otherwise adapters will be needed or the hold-down will change.

What Long does differently

Long (Kung Long Batteries) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of sealed VRLA batteries. Its AGM and GEL series for UPS, mobility, alarms and cycling are found in equipment worldwide as original equipment. We guarantee that every Long arrives new, charged and with the manufacturer's full warranty.

The Long WP1234W: WPS Series range and AGM technology

Within the Long catalogue, the WPS Series series groups the references designed for this use. The WP1234W is the 8.5 Ah model of that family, with the same performance as its siblings in other sizes.

AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology seals the electrolyte in glass microfibre. The result is a maintenance-free battery that is highly vibration-resistant and able to withstand deep discharges that would ruin a classic lead-acid battery.

How to make it last longer

Replace all the batteries in the set at once and avoid environments continuously above 25 °C. Check the float voltage of the UPS or charger: a voltage that is too high shortens the life of a sealed battery.

Manufacturer's warranty

The Long WP1234W comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
