Long: the maker behind the WPL14-12S

Long batteries combine large-scale production with ISO quality standards and a batch-to-batch consistency that has made them the de-facto standard in backup systems and electric mobility. We guarantee that every Long arrives new, charged and with the manufacturer's full warranty.

The Long WPL14-12S: WPL Series range and AGM technology

Within the Long catalogue, the WPL Series series groups the references designed for this use. The WPL14-12S is the 14 Ah model of that family, with the same performance as its siblings in other sizes.

In an AGM battery the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre separators: there is no free liquid, it cannot spill and it can be mounted at an angle. That construction lowers internal resistance, speeds up recharging and multiplies cycle life compared with a conventional battery.

Usage and maintenance tips

Replace all the batteries in the set at once and avoid environments continuously above 25 °C. Charge with a charger that has an AGM mode: it limits the voltage and protects the glass-fibre separators.
