Long WPL28-12T · Stationary UPS battery 12V 28Ah AGM

Stationary battery Long WPL28-12T WPL Series 28Ah 12V

The 12 V, 28 Ah Long WPL28-12T stationary battery from the WPL Series range with AGM technology is designed for UPS, alarms, telecoms and emergency lighting. Its 166 × 125 × 176 mm make it the exact replacement for the 28 Ah battery fitted as standard to many UPS, alarm and emergency systems.

• Instant response to mains failures.
• AGM: faster recharging and better cycle resistance than a conventional battery.
• Standard format for UPS and emergency systems.
• Low self-discharge and high reliability.

What the Long WPL28-12T is for

With 28 Ah, the Long WPL28-12T gives your UPS or emergency system the autonomy it needs. Replace all the batteries in the set at once. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 9.18 kg.

Dimensions, polarity and mounting

The Long WPL28-12T is made in the 166 × 125 × 176 mm format and weighs 9.18 kg. Before replacing it, measure your current battery tray: if all three dimensions and the terminal positions match, the swap is direct and needs no adapters.

What Long does differently

Long (Kung Long Batteries) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of sealed VRLA batteries. Its AGM and GEL series for UPS, mobility, alarms and cycling are found in equipment worldwide as original equipment. We guarantee that every Long arrives new, charged and with the manufacturer's full warranty.

The Long WPL28-12T: WPL Series range and AGM technology

The WPL28-12T is part of the Long WPL Series range. Choosing the right reference within the series comes down to capacity, dimensions and terminals: technology and quality are common to the whole family.

In an AGM battery the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre separators: there is no free liquid, it cannot spill and it can be mounted at an angle. That construction lowers internal resistance, speeds up recharging and multiplies cycle life compared with a conventional battery.

How to make it last longer

Replace all the batteries in the set at once and avoid environments continuously above 25 °C. Check the float voltage of the UPS or charger: a voltage that is too high shortens the life of a sealed battery.

Official warranty

The Long WPL28-12T comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
