Will it fit your current battery tray?

In terms of format, the Q-Battery 6GEL-240 measures 311 × 181 × 360 mm (length × width × height) and weighs 50.60 kg. The positive terminal on the right decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. It uses a B0 hold-down and A-Pole terminals, the system that anchors and connects it in the vehicle. Checking the three dimensions and the terminal position before buying avoids the most common mistake when replacing a battery.

What the Q-Battery 6GEL-240 is for

The Q-Battery 6GEL-240 is designed for scrubber-dryers, sweepers and industrial cleaning machines: full working shifts with deep discharges and daily recharging. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 50.60 kg, A-Pole terminals and B0 hold-down.

The Q-Battery 6GEL-240: GEL Traction Battery range and GEL technology

The GEL Traction Battery is the Q-Battery range the 6GEL-240 belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.

GEL technology fixes the acid in a solid gel. That removes maintenance and leaks and gives very long cycle life, in exchange for slightly slower recharging and lower peak current than an AGM.

What Q-Battery does differently

Warranty and coverage

The Q-Battery 6GEL-240 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.

Usage and maintenance tips

Check the electrolyte level if the battery allows it and replace the complete set when changing batteries. GEL batteries need lower charging voltages: always use a charger with a GEL mode so as not to damage the electrolyte.
