The Tudor TF1421 truck battery is rated at 12 V, 142 Ah and 850 A of cold cranking current (EN) from the PRO (Hdx) range, and is prepared for trucks, buses, tractors and heavy machinery. It replaces the original battery without adaptation in trucks with a 345 × 175 × 290 mm format: same 142 Ah capacity and the positive terminal on the left.

The positive terminal on the left decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. Before replacing it, measure your current battery tray: if all three dimensions and the terminal positions match, the swap is direct and needs no adapters.

In a conventional battery the electrolyte is liquid and the lead plates are immersed in it. It is a mature, economical and easily recycled technology, ideal for starting vehicles in normal use.

Manufacturer's warranty

The Tudor TF1421 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. An important note for commercial vehicles: most trucks use two batteries connected in series (24 V installation). If you replace only one, the new battery works alongside the old one, which has already lost capacity; that imbalance shortens its life and the manufacturer may treat it as misuse. Always replace both at the same time.

Usage and maintenance tips

During rest stops with active loads, avoid repeated deep discharges: they shorten the life of any starter battery. On batteries with filler caps, check the electrolyte level and top up only with distilled water.
