High-rate UPS batteries are the backbone of backup power in mission-critical environments: server rooms APC, Eaton, Vertiv, Schneider, Riello, SOCOMEC; data centres; hospitals (ICU, theatres, X-ray); electrical substations; industrial control.

The key difference vs standard stationary AGM: discharge here is brutally short and powerful — 5-15 minutes releasing all energy while the genset starts or load transfers. The fit-for-purpose technology is 12 V AGM HR (High Rate): plates optimised for high current, <3% monthly self-discharge, 8-10 year float life at 20 °C.
