Mobility battery Long WP0.7-12 WP Series 0.7Ah 12V

The 12 V, 0.7 Ah Long WP0.7-12 from the WP Series range with AGM technology is the standard replacement for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. Its 96 × 25 × 62 mm make it the exact replacement for the 0.7 Ah battery fitted as standard to many power wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

• Sealed AGM/GEL: safe indoors and in transport.
• AGM: faster recharging and better cycle resistance than a conventional battery.
• Approved for air and sea transport (VRLA).
• No maintenance, no water top-ups.

What the Long WP0.7-12 is for

The Long WP0.7-12 is designed for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. Wheelchairs and scooters normally use two identical batteries in series: replace them together. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 0.36 kg.

The Long WP0.7-12: WP Series range and AGM technology

The WP Series is the Long range the WP0.7-12 belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.

In an AGM battery the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre separators: there is no free liquid, it cannot spill and it can be mounted at an angle. That construction lowers internal resistance, speeds up recharging and multiplies cycle life compared with a conventional battery.

Dimensions, polarity and mounting

The Long WP0.7-12 is made in the 96 × 25 × 62 mm format and weighs 0.36 kg. Checking the three dimensions and the terminal position before buying avoids the most common mistake when replacing a battery.

What Long does differently

Long (Kung Long Batteries) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of sealed VRLA batteries. Usage and maintenance tips

Use the original charger or one compatible with the battery technology (AGM/GEL) and always replace both batteries in the set together. Recharge the wheelchair or scooter after each use and do not leave it discharged for days: lead sulphates and loses capacity.

Warranty and coverage

The Long WP0.7-12 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
