Mobility battery Long WP30-12T WP Series 30Ah 12V

The Long WP30-12T with AGM technology delivers 30 Ah at 12 V with the cycle life that power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles demand. Its 166 × 125 × 176 mm make it the exact replacement for the 30 Ah battery fitted as standard to many power wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

• Sealed AGM/GEL: safe indoors and in transport.
• AGM: faster recharging and better cycle resistance than a conventional battery.
• Approved for air and sea transport (VRLA).
• No maintenance, no water top-ups.

What the Long WP30-12T is for

The Long WP30-12T is designed for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. Wheelchairs and scooters normally use two identical batteries in series: replace them together. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 10.50 kg.

The Long WP30-12T: WP Series range and AGM technology

Within the Long catalogue, the WP Series series groups the references designed for this use. The WP30-12T is the 30 Ah model of that family, with the same performance as its siblings in other sizes.

In an AGM battery the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre separators: there is no free liquid, it cannot spill and it can be mounted at an angle. That construction lowers internal resistance, speeds up recharging and multiplies cycle life compared with a conventional battery.

Size, terminals and hold-down of the Long WP30-12T

The Long WP30-12T is made in the 166 × 125 × 176 mm format and weighs 10.50 kg. Checking the three dimensions and the terminal position before buying avoids the most common mistake when replacing a battery.

Long: the maker behind the WP30-12T

Long batteries combine large-scale production with ISO quality standards and a batch-to-batch consistency that has made them the de-facto standard in backup systems and electric mobility. At baterias.com we work directly with the manufacturer or its official distributor: real stock, brand-new product and official warranty.

How to make it last longer

Recharge the wheelchair or scooter after each use and do not leave it discharged for days: lead sulphates and loses capacity. Use the original charger or one compatible with the battery technology (AGM/GEL) and always replace both batteries in the set together.

Official warranty

The Long WP30-12T comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
