The Long WP4.5-12 with AGM technology delivers 4.5 Ah at 12 V with the cycle life that power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles demand. • AGM technology: absorbed electrolyte, no spills, can be mounted at an angle.
• Designed to be discharged and recharged daily without losing capacity.

What the Long WP4.5-12 is for

With 4.5 Ah, the Long WP4.5-12 offers the daily range that power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles need, with a sealed construction that is safe indoors. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 1.62 kg.

Will it fit your current battery tray?

It has external dimensions of 90 × 70 × 107 mm and weighs 1.62 kg. Checking the three dimensions and the terminal position before buying avoids the most common mistake when replacing a battery.

The Long WP4.5-12: WP Series range and AGM technology

The WP Series is the Long range the WP4.5-12 belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.

AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology seals the electrolyte in glass microfibre. The result is a maintenance-free battery that is highly vibration-resistant and able to withstand deep discharges that would ruin a classic lead-acid battery.

What Long does differently

Long (Kung Long Batteries) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of sealed VRLA batteries. Its AGM and GEL series for UPS, mobility, alarms and cycling are found in equipment worldwide as original equipment. All the Long batteries in our catalogue are genuine product, recently manufactured and covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty and coverage

The Long WP4.5-12 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.

How to make it last longer

Use the original charger or one compatible with the battery technology (AGM/GEL) and always replace both batteries in the set together. Recharge the wheelchair or scooter after each use and do not leave it discharged for days: lead sulphates and loses capacity.
