Ritar EV12-110 12V 110Ah 700A is a traction battery for cleaning machines and aerial platforms, with thick plates for daily fleet use. 328×172×220 mm case, 30.5 kg.

Ritar’s EV series is designed for the frequent deep discharge of electric vehicles: a patented deep-cycle active material formula, strong Pb-Ca-Sn cadmium-free grids, thick plates and a high-performance AGM separator. Over 300 cycles at 100 % depth of discharge. Sealed (VRLA) and maintenance-free, with self-discharge below 3 % per month. The whole series at Ritar EV batteries.
328×172×220 mm case, 30.5 kg. 12 V and 110 Ah, 700 A cold cranking (CCA) and a maximum discharge current of 1100 A for 5 seconds.

Guide to replace a cyclic battery (12V 4-30Ah) for UPS, mobility scooter, alarm or backup device. Estimated time 10-15 minutes. Important: discharge residual voltage before handling.
Unplug the device (UPS, scooter, alarm) and leave it off for at least 30 seconds to discharge residual capacitor voltage. Work on an insulating surface.
Usually under the seat (mobility scooter/wheelchair), in the rear module of the UPS, or behind a side panel with screws. Check the device manual for unusual models.
With insulated gloves, remove the negative (−) cable first. Some UPS have protection fuses — note their position before removing.
Repeat with the positive cable (red, marked +). Important: never let a terminal touch metal of the car while the other is still connected.
Typical weight 1-15 kg depending on capacity. Many cyclic batteries are AGM/GEL — keep them upright. Do NOT invert the battery: even sealed, residue may exist.
Same orientation and type (AGM, GEL or flooded). Polarity must match the device, not a chassis (this is not a car). Make sure terminals do not touch metal parts of the compartment.
On cyclic devices the order is reversed compared to cars: positive (+) first, negative (−) afterwards. Tighten without forcing — the plastic terminal housing of cyclic batteries damages easily.
Cyclic batteries ship at 60-80%. Before first use, connect the device charger for 8-12 hours (or use an AGM/GEL smart charger if available). This avoids short cycles and extends lifespan.
In most devices it fits in 15-30 minutes with a 10 mm wrench; if the battery is under the seat or in the boot the time can double. See the step-by-step guide on this page. Quick summary: 1) switch off the engine and remove the key; 2) locate the original battery (engine bay, boot or under seat); 3) disconnect the negative (−) terminal first, then the positive (+); 4) loosen the hold-down clamp and remove the old battery; 5) fit the new one in the same orientation — match the polarity shown on the product sheet; 6) connect the positive (+) first, then the negative (−). On devices with Start-Stop or BMS, register the battery via OBD so the alternator applies the correct charging profile.
Expected lifespan of the Ritar EV12-110 is 4 to 7 years in regular use (depends on technology and climate). In cold regions it drops slightly due to cold-start stress; in very hot regions it also drops because of electrolyte evaporation. To extend its life: avoid deep discharges (headlights on with engine off), have the alternator checked yearly, and keep the battery clean and properly secured.
Dimensions (length × width × height) are 328×172×220 mm — also written as 328x172x220 mm — following the European DIN standard. Always measure the space in your device before buying: even one extra millimetre can prevent the hold-down clamp from closing. The height shown includes the terminals.
Directly interchangeable batteries (same dimensions, same polarity, same Ah and CCA) are the OEM equivalents from leading brands: Bosch, Tudor, Exide and, depending on the model, Banner or Yuasa. Exact equivalence depends on technology — an EFB cannot be replaced with a conventional battery in Start-Stop devices. See the "Equivalents" section to view recommended options at the same performance level.
