Deta DB950 12V 95Ah 800A is a ready-to-use passenger car battery, sealed and maintenance-free. Delivers the cranking amps the engine needs in cold weather and keeps stable voltage for modern car loads (ECU, sensors, climate control, infotainment).

The Deta DB950 from the Power range delivers 95 Ah and 800 A of cold cranking current (EN) at 12 V: the usual specification for passenger cars with conventional starting, without a Start-Stop system. It measures 353 × 175 × 190 mm and the positive terminal on the right, the format sought by anyone replacing a 95 Ah battery in cars.
According to our database, the Deta DB950 equips more than 1,484 vehicles from brands such as Fendt, New Holland, Fiat, Massey Ferguson, John Deere and Same, among others. If you are looking for a battery for a Fendt or New Holland with these dimensions, the DB950 is one of the usual replacement references. Models from Deutz-Fahr, Lamborghini, Aebi, International-Harvester, Sperry New Holland, Case Ih, Bucher Schörling and Steyr are added to that list. It is checked against 179 original-equipment references from different manufacturers.
It has external dimensions of 353 × 175 × 190 mm and weighs 21.60 kg. The positive terminal on the right decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. It uses a B13 hold-down and 1 terminals, the system that anchors and connects it in the vehicle. For a direct replacement, the current battery tray must accept these dimensions and the same terminal layout; otherwise adapters will be needed or the hold-down will change.
Deta is the German brand of the Exide group: batteries built with original-equipment technology and a very complete range for cars, Start-Stop, trucks, motorcycles and leisure. All the Deta batteries in our catalogue are genuine product, recently manufactured and covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
The Power is the Deta range the DB950 belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.
Conventional lead-acid is the benchmark against which other technologies are compared: good cranking current, great tolerance to alternator charging and the best price per amp-hour.
On batteries with filler caps, check the electrolyte level and top up only with distilled water. Keep the terminals clean and tight, and check that the resting voltage does not drop below 12.4 V: below that it is time to recharge.
The Deta DB950 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects; the exact period is stated in the brand's conditions. If it fails through a defect within the period, we replace it free of charge.
Same-day dispatch from our warehouse for in-stock orders placed before 6:00 pm: 24-48 working hours in mainland Spain and Portugal, 3 to 5 days in the islands and the rest of Europe. Returns are accepted for 14 days if the battery has not been used (free collection on the Iberian mainland). You will receive tracking by email.

Step-by-step guide to replace your car battery in 15-30 minutes (longer if the battery is under the seat or in the boot) without losing vehicle settings.
Park on a flat surface, switch off the engine and remove the key. Make sure all lights and electrical accessories are off. Wait 1-2 minutes before starting.
Open the bonnet. The battery is usually in the engine bay, but in many modern cars it may be in the boot or under the passenger seat. Check the manual if you cannot find it.
Use the 10 mm wrench to loosen the negative cable nut (black, marked −) and remove the cable from the post. Move it aside so it cannot touch any bodywork.
Repeat with the positive cable (red, marked +). Important: never let a terminal touch metal of the car while the other is still connected.
Loosen the bottom hold-down clamp with the same wrench. Lift the battery carefully (it can weigh 15-25 kg). Clean the tray with a brush and baking soda if there is corrosion.
Place the battery in the same orientation as the old one (positive terminal on the same side). Tighten the hold-down clamp firmly.
Connect the positive (+) terminal first, then the negative (−). Tighten the nuts with the wrench until each terminal does not move. Apply anti-spark grease if you have any.
Close the bonnet. Start the engine to confirm everything works. On cars with Start-Stop or a BMS, you may need to register the battery via OBD so the alternator applies the correct charging profile.
In most cars it fits in 15-30 minutes with a 10 mm wrench; if the battery is under the seat or in the boot the time can double. See the step-by-step guide on this page. Quick summary: 1) switch off the engine and remove the key; 2) locate the original battery (engine bay, boot or under seat); 3) disconnect the negative (−) terminal first, then the positive (+); 4) loosen the hold-down clamp and remove the old battery; 5) fit the new one in the same orientation — match the polarity shown on the product sheet; 6) connect the positive (+) first, then the negative (−). On cars with Start-Stop or BMS, register the battery via OBD so the alternator applies the correct charging profile.
Expected lifespan of the Deta DB950 is 4 to 6 years in regular car use without Start-Stop. In cold regions it drops slightly due to cold-start stress; in very hot regions it also drops because of electrolyte evaporation. To extend its life: avoid deep discharges (headlights on with engine off), have the alternator checked yearly, and keep the battery clean and properly secured.
Dimensions (length × width × height) are 353×175×190 mm — also written as 353x175x190 mm and correspond to the European L5 case size — following the European DIN standard. Always measure the space in your car before buying: even one extra millimetre can prevent the hold-down clamp from closing. The height shown includes the terminals.
Three options to confirm: 1) enter your number plate in the finder (DGT/DVLA/KBA auto-detect your model and engine); 2) check the "Compatible vehicles" tab on this page, where we list every vehicle verified by our technical team; 3) if you cannot find your model, message us on WhatsApp with brand, model, engine and year — we reply during business hours (Mon–Fri 10:00–13:30 and 16:40–18:00 (Spanish time, CET)). The DB950 fits 69 verified vehicle versions in our database.
Directly interchangeable batteries (same dimensions, same polarity, same Ah and CCA) are the OEM equivalents from leading brands: Bosch, Tudor, Exide and, depending on the model, Banner or Yuasa. Exact equivalence depends on technology — an EFB cannot be replaced with a conventional battery in Start-Stop cars. See the "Equivalents" section to view recommended options at the same performance level.
