The Long LG65-12: LG Series range and GEL technology

The LG65-12 is part of the Long LG Series range. Choosing the right reference within the series comes down to capacity, dimensions and terminals: technology and quality are common to the whole family.

A GEL battery is the choice when cycle resistance and safety matter most: no gases, no liquid and thousands of partial discharges in its lifetime.

Will it fit your current battery tray?

It has external dimensions of 350 × 166 × 174 mm and weighs 23.90 kg. The positive terminal on the right decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. Checking the three dimensions and the terminal position before buying avoids the most common mistake when replacing a battery.

Why choose Long batteries

Long batteries combine large-scale production with ISO quality standards and a batch-to-batch consistency that has made them the de-facto standard in backup systems and electric mobility. We guarantee that every Long arrives new, charged and with the manufacturer's full warranty.

How to make it last longer

GEL batteries need lower charging voltages: always use a charger with a GEL mode so as not to damage the electrolyte. Recharge the wheelchair or scooter after each use and do not leave it discharged for days: lead sulphates and loses capacity.

Manufacturer's warranty

The Long LG65-12 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
