Long WP2.6-12 · Stationary UPS battery 12V 2.6Ah AGM

Mobility battery Long WP2.6-12 WP Series 2.6Ah 12V

The Long WP2.6-12 with AGM technology delivers 2.6 Ah at 12 V with the cycle life that power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles demand. It replaces the original battery without adaptation in power wheelchairs and mobility scooters with a 178 × 34 × 66 mm format: same 2.6 Ah capacity.

• Thousands of useful cycles over its lifetime.
• Standard replacement format for wheelchairs and scooters.
• AGM technology: absorbed electrolyte, no spills, can be mounted at an angle.
• Designed to be discharged and recharged daily without losing capacity.

Will it fit your current battery tray?

It has external dimensions of 178 × 34 × 66 mm and weighs 1 kg. Checking the three dimensions and the terminal position before buying avoids the most common mistake when replacing a battery.

What the Long WP2.6-12 is for

The Long WP2.6-12 is designed for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. Wheelchairs and scooters normally use two identical batteries in series: replace them together. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 1 kg.

The Long WP2.6-12: WP Series range and AGM technology

The WP Series is the Long range the WP2.6-12 belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.

In an AGM battery the electrolyte is absorbed in glass-fibre separators: there is no free liquid, it cannot spill and it can be mounted at an angle. That construction lowers internal resistance, speeds up recharging and multiplies cycle life compared with a conventional battery.

Long: the maker behind the WP2.6-12

Long batteries combine large-scale production with ISO quality standards and a batch-to-batch consistency that has made them the de-facto standard in backup systems and electric mobility. At baterias.com we work directly with the manufacturer or its official distributor: real stock, brand-new product and official warranty.

Official warranty

The Long WP2.6-12 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.

Care and maintenance

Charge with a charger that has an AGM mode: it limits the voltage and protects the glass-fibre separators. Recharge the wheelchair or scooter after each use and do not leave it discharged for days: lead sulphates and loses capacity.
