The Long WP7-6 in practice
WP7-6 vs Long WP2.3-12
The Long WP7-6 offers 7 Ah and 0 A cold cranking in a 151 × 34 × 100 mm case. The Long WP2.3-12, same brand and technology, stays at 2 Ah and 0 A with 27 mm more length If your car originally had the smaller capacity, this one gives extra reserve in the same case.
Mobility battery Long WP7-6 WP Series 7Ah 6V
Designed for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles, the Long WP7-6 from the WP Series range offers 7 Ah of deep-cycle capacity with AGM technology. It measures 151 × 34 × 100 mm, the format sought by anyone replacing a 7 Ah battery in power wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
- Designed to be discharged and recharged daily without losing capacity.
- AGM technology: absorbed electrolyte, no spills, can be mounted at an angle.
- Standard replacement format for wheelchairs and scooters.
- Thousands of useful cycles over its lifetime.
What the Long WP7-6 is for
The Long WP7-6 is the usual replacement in power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. Recharge after each use and avoid leaving it discharged for days. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 1.23 kg.
Will it fit your current battery tray?
In terms of format, the Long WP7-6 measures 151 × 34 × 100 mm (length × width × height) and weighs 1.23 kg. For a direct replacement, the current battery tray must accept these dimensions and the same terminal layout; otherwise adapters will be needed or the hold-down will change.
The Long WP7-6: WP Series range and AGM technology
The WP Series is the Long range the WP7-6 belongs to: it shares the same construction and quality criteria with the rest of the series, and varies in capacity and format to suit each vehicle.
AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology seals the electrolyte in glass microfibre. The result is a maintenance-free battery that is highly vibration-resistant and able to withstand deep discharges that would ruin a classic lead-acid battery.
What Long does differently
Long batteries combine large-scale production with ISO quality standards and a batch-to-batch consistency that has made them the de-facto standard in backup systems and electric mobility. We guarantee that every Long arrives new, charged and with the manufacturer's full warranty.
Official warranty
The Long WP7-6 comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
How to make it last longer
Use the original charger or one compatible with the battery technology (AGM/GEL) and always replace both batteries in the set together. Charge with a charger that has an AGM mode: it limits the voltage and protects the glass-fibre separators.
When you get it and how to return it
Order before 6:00 pm with stock available and it leaves today: mainland Spain and Portugal receive it in 24-48 working hours, the islands and the rest of the EU in 3 to 5 days. You have 14 days to return it if it has not been installed, with free collection on the mainland, and shipment tracking by email.

Frequently asked questions
Is the WP7-6 model AGM? What does this technology offer?
Yes. The WP7-6 from Long uses AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology: a sealed lead-acid battery where the electrolyte is absorbed in a glass-fibre mat. It withstands more charge/discharge cycles than a conventional one, handles heat better and is the required technology for devices with advanced Start-Stop and regenerative braking. Expected lifespan: 5-8 years under normal conditions.
What are the dimensions of the Long WP7-6 battery?
Dimensions (length × width × height) are 151×34×100 mm — also written as 151x34x100 mm — following the European DIN standard. Always measure the space in your device before buying: even one extra millimetre can prevent the hold-down clamp from closing. The height shown includes the terminals.
