Car batteries equipped with start stop system

Start-Stop batteries — EFB and AGM — are built for cars with automatic stop/start. Start-Stop shuts the engine off at every stop (traffic lights, queues) and restarts it the instant you release the clutch or brake pedal, putting the battery through 10-30 cranking cycles a day, multiplied over the vehicle's whole life.

A conventional SLI battery would fail in 6-12 months under that load; you need EFB (basic Start-Stop, no regenerative braking) or AGM (Start-Stop with regenerative braking, mild hybrids, or cars with heavy electrical loads).
