Mobility battery Long LG12-12 LG Series 12Ah 12V

The 12 V, 12 Ah Long LG12-12 from the LG Series range with GEL technology is the standard replacement for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. It replaces the original battery without adaptation in power wheelchairs and mobility scooters with a 151 × 98 × 98 mm format: same 12 Ah capacity and the positive terminal on the left.

In short: the Long LG12-12 (12 Ah, 151 × 98 × 98 mm, positive terminal on the left). Verified equivalent alternatives: Exide AGM12-12F and Tudor TK143.

• Thousands of useful cycles over its lifetime.
• Standard replacement format for wheelchairs and scooters.
• GEL technology: gelled electrolyte, fully sealed and maintenance-free.
• Designed to be discharged and recharged daily without losing capacity.

What the Long LG12-12 is for

The Long LG12-12 is designed for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. Wheelchairs and scooters normally use two identical batteries in series: replace them together. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 4 kg.

Dimensions, polarity and mounting

In terms of format, the Long LG12-12 measures 151 × 98 × 98 mm (length × width × height) and weighs 4 kg. The positive terminal on the left decides which side the cables end up on: it is the detail that causes most buying mistakes, so check it before ordering. For a direct replacement, the current battery tray must accept these dimensions and the same terminal layout; otherwise adapters will be needed or the hold-down will change.

The Long LG12-12: LG Series range and GEL technology

Within the Long catalogue, the LG Series series groups the references designed for this use. The LG12-12 is the 12 Ah model of that family, with the same performance as its siblings in other sizes.

GEL technology fixes the acid in a solid gel. That removes maintenance and leaks and gives very long cycle life, in exchange for slightly slower recharging and lower peak current than an AGM.

Why choose Long batteries

Long (Kung Long Batteries) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of sealed VRLA batteries. We guarantee that every Long arrives new, charged and with the manufacturer's full warranty.

Manufacturer's warranty

Care and maintenance

Use the original charger or one compatible with the battery technology (AGM/GEL) and always replace both batteries in the set together. Recharge the wheelchair or scooter after each use and do not leave it discharged for days: lead sulphates and loses capacity.
