The 12 V, 14 Ah Long WP14-12NE from the WP Series range with AGM technology is the standard replacement for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. Its 151 × 98 × 95 mm make it the exact replacement for the 14 Ah battery fitted as standard to many power wheelchairs and mobility scooters.

• Sealed AGM/GEL: safe indoors and in transport.
• AGM: faster recharging and better cycle resistance than a conventional battery.
• Approved for air and sea transport (VRLA).
• No maintenance, no water top-ups.

What the Long WP14-12NE is for

The Long WP14-12NE is designed for power wheelchairs, mobility scooters and light electric vehicles. Wheelchairs and scooters normally use two identical batteries in series: replace them together. Check that it matches your current battery in dimensions, terminals and hold-down: this reference has a weight of 4.04 kg.

Will it fit your current battery tray?

In terms of format, the Long WP14-12NE measures 151 × 98 × 95 mm (length × width × height) and weighs 4.04 kg. Checking the three dimensions and the terminal position before buying avoids the most common mistake when replacing a battery.

What Long does differently

Long (Kung Long Batteries) is one of the world's largest manufacturers of sealed VRLA batteries. Its AGM and GEL series for UPS, mobility, alarms and cycling are found in equipment worldwide as original equipment. At baterias.com we work directly with the manufacturer or its official distributor: real stock, brand-new product and official warranty.

The Long WP14-12NE: WP Series range and AGM technology

The WP14-12NE is part of the Long WP Series range. Choosing the right reference within the series comes down to capacity, dimensions and terminals: technology and quality are common to the whole family.

AGM means the acid is held in a glass mat instead of floating free. That is why the battery can be installed in the cabin without gases, survives more cycles and recovers its charge quickly.

Usage and maintenance tips

Recharge the wheelchair or scooter after each use and do not leave it discharged for days: lead sulphates and loses capacity. Charge with a charger that has an AGM mode: it limits the voltage and protects the glass-fibre separators.

Warranty and coverage

The Long WP14-12NE comes with the manufacturer's official warranty against manufacturing defects. If it fails through a defect within the warranty period, we replace it at no cost to you.
