What is the difference between the Varta Battery E11 and the E43?

The Varta E11 Car Battery and the Varta E43 Battery differ in two things:

- The performance of the E11 model is slightly higher than that of the E43 model. Thus, while the first has 74Ah of capacity and 680A of starter, the second, that is, the E43 model, has 72Ah of capacity and 680A of starter. That is, the same starting capacity and 2Ah less capacity.

- However, the most important difference is the height, so while the E11 is 19cm tall (190mm), the E43 model is 17.5cm (175mm) tall.

This last difference makes the Varta E11 Battery unsuitable due to height for some vehicle models.

This is especially relevant in some car brands such as OPEL or FORD, which usually require a lower battery.

Therefore, our recommendation is the following:

If your vehicle supports it, buy the Varta E11 Battery, it has better performance and being a battery with more rotation is usually cheaper.

If your vehicle requires less height, do not worry you can install the E43 model, which has a little less capacity, but the starter is the same or opt for the Varta E38 Battery, which has the same measurements as the E43 battery but with better performance: 74Ah capacity and a starting force of 750A.

Recommendation: If your vehicle is an Opel or Ford brand, check the height of the currently installed battery. If you are 17.5cm tall, buy the E43 model.
